In today's class we learned the graphing formula for equations which is y=a(x-h)^2+k Some terms learned • When a is big number the graph is skinny • When a is a decimal the graph is wide • If h is positive the graph is to the right • If h is negative the graph is to the left • If k is positive the graph is up • If k is negative the graph is down The Vertex of a parabola is (h,k) We also did PG 13 as a class which are on the slides
